 Tran Thuan, Vice-President Thuan Tran arrived in the U.S. in 1983 and settled on Long Island, New York. He received a B.A and an M.A. in English from Queens College. He is working toward his Ph.D. in Linguistics at the City University of New York at the Graduate Center, specializing in Second Language Acquisition. From 1998 to 2002, he taught English Composition and English as a Second Language at Hofstra Universty, Queensborough Community College, and LaGuardia Community College in New York. Since October 2004, Thuan Tran has been teaching English Composition and World Literature for Troy University (Alabama) in Hanoi. In addition to teaching, he is also currently Troy University’s representative in Vietnam. |
 Ton Nu Dan Phuong, Treasurer Ton Nu Dan Phuong arrived in the U.S in 1992 and currently resides in New Jersey. Dan Phuong obtained a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University in 2004. She was a former president for the Vietnamese Students Association at Columbia University in 2003. She is currently working as a business consultant for IBM in the Business Consulting Services group responsible for project management and driving growth and efficiency by transforming the business strategy and operations of financial services institutions. |
